Lucky's Race & Sports Book is seeking friendly, knowledgeable and customer service-focused Ticket Writers in Primm and Elko, NV. Excellent hourly pay.
The Ticket Writer is responsible for providing rapid and accurate service to guests of the race and sports book. Accept bets and writes race and sports tickets.
Minimum Employment Requirements:
21+ years of age, proof of employment eligibility to work in the United States, High School Diploma or equivalent, valid Gaming Registration, ability to effectively communicate in English both in oral and written form, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to the Brandywine standards, work varied shifts that may include weekends and holidays.
Specific Job Requirements:
One (1) year guest service and cash handling experience including accepting payment and making correct change when necessary preferred, ability to maintain and balance a cash drawer, knowledge of sports preferred, but not required. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch without restriction. Maintain manual dexterity necessary for writing/cashing tickets and handling money, perform in an area that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky, dimly lit or illuminated, maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, busy and sometimes – noisy casino environment and deal effectively with guests, management and fellow employees in all situations, dexterity in the hands and fingers to count money, visual abilities and tolerance needed to use a computer and complete detailed paperwork in the race & sports book.
