| Mayor Goodman bets winning 4-teamer for charity at Fitz |
|
Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman attended the grand opening of Lucky's Sports Book at Fitzgeralds Casino on Friday, December 17. He participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony and martini toast and bet a $100 4-team parlay with the proceeds to benefit a charity of his choice. He completed his winning 4-teamer when the Jets upset the Steelers. He also had the Eagles in their improbable come-from-behind win and BYU and Troy on Saturday. The $100 bet returned $1,320. Mayor Goodman has chosen to split his winnings between two charities: the Nevada Cancer Institute and the Lou Ruvo Brain Institute. Lucky's and Fitzgeralds will match the winnings, making the total amount donated $2,640.
