New Lucky’s Race & Sports Book will be developed on casino floor

LAS VEGAS (April 25, 2011) -- Lucky’s, a leading race and sports book operator, has signed an agreement with the Riviera Hotel & Casino to develop a race and sports book in a new location on the casino floor. The book is expected to open in time for the upcoming football season, upon receipt of regulatory approvals.

Under the agreement, Lucky’s and the Riviera will build out a new race and sports book just inside the Las Vegas Strip entrance to the casino. The book will feature Lucky’s critically acclaimed sports wagering menu, and guests will enjoy many enhancements to the race and sports book, including Lucky’s propriety odds display boards, flat screen TVs for race and sports viewing and individual carrels for horseplayers. The Riviera will designate a special short-term parking area for easy access by locals in the valet parking area.

The Riviera, under new ownership licensed last month, selected Lucky’s as its race and sports book operator after issuing a formal request for proposals.
