New sports book will be developed on the second floor of The Fitz
LAS VEGAS (October 28, 2010) -- Lucky’s, a leading race and sports book operator, has signed an agreement with Fitzgeralds Casino & Hotel in Downtown Las Vegas to develop a new sports book. The book is expected to open in late 2010, upon Gaming Commission approval.
Under the agreement, Lucky’s and the Fitz will build out a full-service sports book on second floor adjacent to the Vue Bar. The book will feature Lucky’s critically acclaimed sports wagering menu. Customers will notice many improvements in the sports book area, including Lucky’s proprietary, state-of-the art odds display boards and TVs for sports viewing.
“We are committed to Downtown Las Vegas and we are excited to partner with the people at the Fitz,” said Lucky’s President & CEO Joe Asher. “The Fitz has a great location on the Fremont Street Experience and we look forward to bringing our premium sports betting experience and wide variety of betting options.”
“Lucky’s was named the best sports book in Las Vegas. They deliver the highest level of service and expertise in the sports betting industry. They will make a great business partner,” said Patrick Wisnicky, Vice President of Finance at Fitzgeralds Las Vegas, “and they are a perfect complement to the Keno and Poker areas at Fitz Las Vegas.”
