Modern book in the heart of the casino floor features Las Vegas Blvd’s only outdoor walk-up betting window

LAS VEGAS (September 1, 2011) – Lucky’s, a leading race and sports book operator, and the Riviera Hotel & Casino has opened a sleek new race and sports book on the casino floor, just in time for the start of football season.

The book, located steps from the Las Vegas Boulevard entrance to the casino, will feature the Strip’s only outdoor walk-up betting window. Pedestrians will be able to view the latest lines and place sports wagers from the Strip.

Inside, guests will discover a modern race and sports book with 47 high-definition TVs and individual carrels for horseplayers. The book will feature Lucky’s critically acclaimed sports wagering menu, including the highest paying Half-Point parlay cards on the Strip and the Progressive Carryover Pro Football Contest, named “Best of Las Vegas” in 2009 and 2010. For easy access by locals, the Riviera is designating special short-term parking in the valet area accessible from Las Vegas Boulevard.
